Brief
To be the Senior UX Designer for the Global Standards and Licensing Applications department.
Involvement
HSBC brought me onboard to look after the UX for their Global Standards and Licensing Applications. I was involved in critiquing existing solutions, stakeholder briefs, wireframing/prototyping, presenting solutions, adhering to corporate styleguides, producing dev specs.
Initial Brief

I received a brief from the remote team on how they wanted me to completely revisit a pre-existing solution. This involved making the user journey more logical, and trying to mirror solutions used elsewhere in similar systems.
Research
Before starting designing, I needed to understand the requirements in more detail. I did some data analysis and User Flows which informed my design process.

Wireframing
After receiving the brief, I researched which prexisting componants already existed, then produced a full set of wireframes using the company guidelines.

Prototype
Once receiving the brief, I created a clickable wireframe in Sketch. This was then tested with the stakeholders to receive feedback, then presented to the developers for technical feedback. My brief was to adhere to corporate styleguides for language, components, and interactions.

Testing
After completing the wireframes and prototype, I presented to the stakeholders for approval. Once approved, I then gave the developers a walkthrough to explain how everything worked.
